Okwi extends Simba contract to 2014

Emmanuel Okwi

Uganda striker Emmanuel Okwi has signed a new two-year contract extension with Tanzania Champions Simba SC.

The striker had only six month left in his previous contract, and this extension will keep him with the Tanzania Champions upto 2014.

“I’m happy to sign a new deal with the club and I promise to continue to serve with all my power, and win trophies with my team” Okwi told Supersport.com.

Okwi was on the scoresheet as Ugandan Cranes beat Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro stars 3-0 in a Semi-final clash on Thursday to send them to this year’s Cecafa Tusker Cup final, where they will face Kenya’s Harambee Stars this Saturday at Namboole Stadium in Kampala.
