Kalisa excited on sealing TP Mazembe deal
Amavubi full back Kalisa Mao Kasongo Kabiona is happy after landing a two-year deal with former African champions TP Mazembe late last year from rivals DC Motema Pembe.
“It is a great feeling to be playing for the champions. I am looking forward to a promising career with TP Mazembe but I know that hard work will take me through this challenge,”
Kalisa has played for different clubs in his career like DC Virunga, Vita Club, Rayon Sports and APR FC.
“I believe I am in good shape to win big titles for TP Mazembe,” added Kalisa.
It is reported that the 30-year old defender missed the whole of last season following a dispute between Virunga and Motema Pembe over his ownership but has since been resolved, which allowed him to join the former African champions.
