Former APR striker Emmanuel ‘Crespo’ Sebanani is in Oman holding trials at Premier league side, Salalah Sports Club.

Mukura VC Secretary General Olivier Mulindahabi said the striker left Kigali on December 31. He told the media that they dont know if the player had already signed for the club but the club is struggling in the league and needed a striker to boost their chances of escaping the league.

Salalah is 13th in the league of 14 teams. “I think they need to leave the relegation zone, but the move would be good for our player because he will raise his level,” Mulindahabi was reportedly said.

In a related development, APR FC and Amavubi Stars defender Emery Bayisenge is set for professional trials with Belgian Jupiler League side Zulte-Waregem FC next weekend.

Waregem are four points behind leaders Anderlecht with 44 points.

It will be the second time for the young defender to try his luck at the paid ranks after spending two-weeks in France with Ligue 1 side, Toulouse, but failing to impress.
