Gomes goes on search for an assistant coach

SIX-TIME league champions Rayon Sport Football Club head coach Didier da Rosa Gomes has started searching for an assistant coach to replace sacked coach Ali Bizimungu.
Bizimungu was sacked by Rayon Sport accusing him of not being committed to the job and “not having a good relationship” with head coach Didier Gomes da Rosa.
Rayon Sport FC club secretary Olivier Gakwaya said on Wednesday that, “We have given Gomes a responsibility to look for an assistant coach, he must be Rwandan,”
Gomes is being helped by national football director Richard Tardy who happens to be the head coach of U-17 and U-20 national football teams.
Bizimungu followed his assistant coach Abdul Mbarushimana who resigned from his duties, citing poor working relationship with his bosses last year.
But when contacted, Bizimungu feigned total ignorance about being sacked, insisting that the club has not contacted him regarding the development.
