Kagere wants to win trophies with Rayon Sports
NEW Rayon Sports signing Meddie Kagere has targeted winning silverware with the Nyanza-based club after joining the Blues from Police Fc on a free transfer.
The lethal striker who was hoping to join Lebanese premier League Safa SC on a decided to join the Blues after his deal failed to mature despite having impressed in trials.
He joined the Primus league champions on a two-year contract deal worth a whopping Rwf. 9 millions.
However, the Rayon sports fans will be delighted to hear that the 2011/12 top scorer is already aiming high by claiming that he wants to win more trophies.
“I am happy to join Rayon Sports. They are the champions of Rwandan football and I am here to help the club win more trophies,”
“We have a very strong team that can improve a lot this season. I think we will win more trophies because we have the potential [to do so].

Didier Gomes da Rosa on Wednesday in Nyanza.
Eager Rayon Sports fans will have see new hero Kagere make his debut for the club, as they face Gicumbi at home at Amahoro stadium on Saturday.
The Rwandan international talisman spent three seasons at Police FC, scoring 38 league goals.
He was Amavubi’s top scorer in the team’s disappointing 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil qualifiers with three goals in six matches.
