Kabange Twite in transfer snag

Kabange Twite in transfer snag

Kabange Twite

Young Africans’ mid-season transfer target Kabange Twite from the Democratic Republic of Congo’s FC Lupopo has his move to join the Tanzanian club halted at least for the moment.

Twite, who features for Rwanda’s APR but still under the control of the DRC club, is a prime target for Yanga’s technical bench.

Yanga attempt to obtain the player’s International Transfer Certificate through Transfer Match System has several shortfalls as declared by the world football governing body, FIFA.

FIFA had advised Yanga, through the Tanzania Football Federation, to facilitate the full transfer and fill all the potholes so as the player can cross over to the premiership pace makers.

No more details were available from the TFF but in conclusion the player can not feature for Yanga in the ongoing season as requested by the Tanzanian club.

Until all formalities are through then Twite can join the Dar es Salaam club but not in time for the current season now in midway.

Twite has been training with Yanga for the past two months and the club had incurred some expenses to maintain his upkeep hoping to join their first choice players’ line-up.

The Dar es Salaam club has been highly interested in the Congolese player after reaping handsome dividends from his brother Mbuyu Twite, who has become a household name in the clubhouse as well as members and fans alike.

The Twite brothers used to feature for Rwanda’s APR and their combination has been highly promising and inspirational on the field of play.

Kabange will have to wait until the next premiership season, according to the latest release from the football federation.

Kabange’s transfer complications are also rooted deep in the loaned transfer deal between Yanga and the Congolese club.

FIFA demands clarifications from Yanga in the loaned transfer deal but this will take time before the dust settles for the player to join Yanga.

Mainland premiership season is now in the midway stage and the fourteenth round was concluded last weekend.

Yanga, the Kagame Cup title holders for the second season running, are likely to make use of the player in their title retention bid later in June through July.

The Mainland pacemakers Yanga have continued where they left during the first half of the season to enjoy a five-point gap over second placed Azam FC in the ongoing season.

The team’s 3-1 goal demolition of Tanzania Prisons at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam over the weekend has kept the club in buoyant and serene mood for fans.

Yanga host giant killers Mtibwa Sugar in their next premiership assignment this weekend at home in Dar es Salaam.
