Birori seals deal with Swiss side Servette
AMAVUBI forward Dady Birori has sealed a three-year professional move with Switzerland’s second division tier club Servette FC.
Speaking to local media yesterday, Birori said, “I have sealed the move but both AS Vita and Servette are in talks over the transfer money. I hope AS Vita will be cooperative and respond to my wish of playing professional football in Europe,”
“I want to play outside Congolese league and meet other new challenges. I have been the top scorer for the last two years in the entire league and I want to try my luck elsewhere,”
In Kinshasa, Birori who is known as Tadygoal, passed trials with Belgium’s Anderlecht but AS Vita complicated his move as they requested for $1,000,000 yet the Belgian side was paying $100,000.
However, he is confident that his move to Servette will improve his career. “I expect to my career to be on the rise if i start playing in Swiss League,”
Birori who was last summoned to Amavubi team in March when Rwanda hosted Mali in the 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kigali, is expected back in Kinshansa this weekend to hold talks with AS Vita before relocating back to Swiss to realise his career move.
