Rajevac linked with Ghana return
Serb Milovan Rajevac is reported to be on a three-man shortlist for the Black Stars technical adviser job.
According to reports in the local media, the former Ghana coach between 2008-2010 must beat competition from compatriot RadmiloIvancevic and Danish coach Ove Pedersen.
Rajevac led Ghana to reach the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa but vacated his post shortly afterwards.
Current Ghana boss KwesiAppiah was his assistant.
The Ghana Football Association has defended the appointment of a technical adviser saying he will “steer the national team in the right direction.”
An Executive Committee meeting on Thursday will confirm the right man for the job.
Ghana suffered an early elimination from the 2014 FIFA World Cup and are seeking to make amends.
The Black Stars begin their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda on 5 September in Kumasi.
