Tusker FC beat Yanga in friendly
Kenyan champions Tusker grabbed a 1-0 victory against Tanzanian giants Yanga in a boxing day friendly match at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
It was Ernie Brandts tenth game incharge of the Jangwani boys, and the Dutchman used the game to examined his squad.
The only goal of the game came in a minute before half-time, through a penalty spot – following Nurdin Bakari’s Challenge on Khalid Aucho in the box.
Ismail Dunga scored the resultant spotkick. The brewers will take part in the Mapinduzi cup which is set to kick off in January next year.
