Egyptian league to resume in February

The Egyptian General Soccer League is set to resume on February 2nd 2013 exactly one year since more than 70 fans were killed when Al-Masry fans clashed with Al-Ahly in Port Said that led to the indefinite suspension of all soccer matches across Egypt.
The League would be divided in two pools with top two teams in either pool proceeding to the Semi Finals a system last used in 1976.
Most of first leg Matches will be held inside military stadiums under the watchful eye of Ministry of defense and without spectators.
