Zamalek prepares ambush for Vita
Zamalek has picked March 15th for their first match against Vita Club of Congo in the 32nd stage of African Champions League.
Zamalek director Alaa Mekled revealed this to supersport.com that they informed CAF about that.
” The technical staff recommended this day because we have a match in the Egyptian league on March 19 and we need to prepare for it properly” Alaa said.
“We still don’t know on which pitch we will play as our requests to El Defa El Gawee stadium in Cairo and Borg Al Arab in Alexandria , are still pending with the security forces to allow our fans to attend the match just as they did against Gazelle”.
Zamalek qualified to this stage after a big 7-0 victory against Gazelle in Alexandria before their goalless draw in Chad. Vita Club meanwhile qualified after posting 3-0 and 2-1 victories against Dynamic Togolais.
