Espoir FC makes three new recruitments
Espoir Football Club have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the 2013/14 season on September 21 by signing three more new players, head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha has confirmed.
The Rusizi-based team on Friday confirmed the signing of playmaker Kassim Habyarimana and striker/winger Jean Marie Safari Rukundo from La Jeunesse as well as midfielder Phocus Musabyimana from Amagaju all on one-year contracts.
“We have signed them on one year contracts but renewable and I hope they will be good additions to the team. The club has also renewed contract of several players and we plan to bring in a few more faces before the season starts,” Ruremesha said over the weekend.
The Western Province-based will use a budget of Rwf60m in the upcoming Primus National Football League season.
He added, “It’s important to strengthen our team in preparation for the new season. The players we have signed so far are all very good but we plan to add three more before the season starts next month.”
The former Kibuye, Atraco, Mukura, Rayon Sports and La Jeunesse coach wants to sign at least another two players before September 21.
They have already signed striker Andres Lomani from La Jeunesse and goalie Bate Shamilu from SC Kiyovu.
