Man United to make £10million bid for Wanyama
English Premier League leaders Manchester United are poised to make a £10million summer bid for Kenyan international and Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama according to Sky Sports and other media reports.
Wanyama has so far impressed the Manchester United boss who personally scouted him this week. Wanyama seized the opportunity to showcase what he could be bringing to Old Trafford by scoring one of the goals during the 4-0 win over Dundee United .
British press has also reported that the Red Devils have watched him in every Champions League game this season, including the 2-1 home win over Barcelona.
Wanyama who plays a s a defensive midfielder is perceived by many as the a great replacement for the aging duo of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs who are set to retire.
United face competition from Arsenal with Arsene Wenger who also believes Wanyama could be the panacea to his midfield problems especially after the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona.
